Full Membership:  For competing dancers and their families, resident in or near Saskatoon or primarily taught by a teacher member.  Benefits include subsidized competition and workshop fees, regular newsletters, travel subsidies, and more.  Recent benefits have included outfit and shoe subsidies, rolling garment bags, and jackets.  Full members participate in fund-raising activities, dance-outs, and Folkfest volunteering, as well as having a vote at association meetings.

Teacher Membership: Open to teachers of SHDA members or non-practicing teachers in the Saskatoon area. Teachers who participate in fund-raising activities are accorded the benefits of a Full Member.

Associate Membership: For dancers who do not compete and anyone who wishes to support the SHDA.  Associates receive our regular newsletter and may participate in membership events.  Dancers in this category are invited to participate in dance-outs.
